Meditations.

To focus the mind.  On a thought, or an idea.

The mind is a lot like a child, in that it needs to be occupied and guided at all times.

Most commonly, we are on autopilot, which allows for so many people, entities & things to take advantage of that state to manipulate our consciousness.

In an attempt to guide the mind toward moods of gratitude, humility and Love, I’m writing and sharing some of the things that help me to better understand the lessons I am being blessed with during this human experience.

I meditate in the mornings (as much as I can) so that I start my day in a way that works for the good of my mental well being.

Understanding that words have power has been a huge benefit to me.

The words of a loved one can have such a profound effect on us, as can the words of those that do not have our best interest in mind.

We have been conditioned to think that words can never hurt us.

But that is not true.

The way that our consciousness is deeply affected by words is evident by our entire way of life.  We elect people to run our governments on words alone, whether they reflect their actions or not.

I am really trying to share things that work for me.

When I see someone getting the “success” I think is mine.

When I see someone I believe to be living my dream.

When I am overwhelmed and inundated with base level energy.

When the ‘news‘ attempts to start my day in the way IT wants to.

These are the things I use to focus, and refocus my mind.

I think it is equally important to focus our mind, intentions and consciousness at night before bed as well, but that may be a different series.

So I hope it helps a bit, I am sure we will evolve together.
